Anyone wiser than I, please enlighten me!!!!

In the past couple of weeks, I've gone from one or two popups every hour to about 1 every minute!!!! :cuss: :cuss: :cuss:

Would someone please point me to some kinda blocking software (preferably free) which can cut this absurd garbage out.

Check out the lastest version of PC Magaize, the talk about this and certain programs. Also, run "msconfig" in your RUN bar, and check startup programs. I can almost guarantee that you have hidden adware!

Simply disable active scripting or JavaScript, depending upon the win32 browser of use.

Yup good advice, that works very well for me when people complain about pop-ups its usually that damn Bonzai buddy, "Common Name," "New," and a few other habitual offenders.

Kazaaaaaaaa ! ! ! ! !Or Morphaeus also has spyware. I just got my firewall.. Ran a program to check and see how many of those damn programs i had. Ended having 200 I believe. One had a f'n log file on my computer over 4 gb.. ! ! Prolly why my computer is down and out now... ! Arghhhhhh......

I use Stopzilla. I have used many others with mixed results. Since I have been using this one I have not seen one popup or ad for that matter.
