...work done.

I am getting a head cleaned up, ported and polished. Upgrading the intake and exhaust valves to +1mm diameter Ferrea Racing valves.

Not mine, but gives an idea of the stock vs. +1mm diameter valves.

Intake will be 35mm diameter, and exhaust will be 29mm diameter.

Also going for ARP headstuds, copper headgasket and adjustment on the exhaust camgear.

I want to get dynoed before and after, and I will also try to get flowbench numbers of the stock and modified head.:coolman:

Should be fun!

Collected some data... I will post up my own numbers when I get them. I have this all in an Excel Spreadsheet, but here are the graphs.

WOW, That is a huge increase. Very interested in what you will get on the next dyno. Are you going to raise the rev limiter now.

Well I got the Head flow results from Powerhouse Machine shop.

You will see in Yellow is the stock SVT results, in red is my new Ported and Polished head with +1mm diameter Ferrea Racing Valves, and I also graphed them with data from two other available performance options (preliminary CFM SVT Stg 2 results and Ford Racing Head results).

Seems like the intake has pretty consistent flow with the stock, however gains a bit with the port and polish up top.
What is interesting to notice is on the exhaust flow is the huge jump at almost no lift, from 60cfm to 90cfm!!
The gains seem pretty linear throughout the exhaust lift.
