Recently in one of my cars(not cobra) I had my engine replaced from a donor car and I want to know the correct mileage of the engine before being replaced. I was wondering if theirs a vin # on the engine that I can check the carfax of the original car or an engine # that I can use to find the vin. The shop that replaced the engine gave me a rough estimate of miles on the engine I just want to double check and plus you cant really trust anyone.
