I think its great VMP stepped up and is making a 2.65 for the Cobra community. Am I the only one who thinks its half assed though? Reason I say this is over in the Coyote world its all about throttle body size and inlet size on these blowers. Is VMP only going to offer the GT500 throttle body option for Cobras? If I remember right you have to use the same inlet and throttle body that the 2.3 uses which is going to be a huge restriction. For GT500 and Coyote they offer 160mm and 173mm throttle body options, anyone know how big the VMP 03 04 Cobra throttle body is? For GT500 and coyote all of the numbers they are posting are from the bigger throttle bodies, i'm curious what those motors will make with the adapter and the smaller twin 67mm throttle body attached. I'm just going to guess the numbers would be substantially lower than the 173mm throttle body numbers. Hopefully i'm wrong and they offer up larger elbows and throttle bodies so you guys can see the full potential of the larger rotor pack. As for VMP marking their throttle bodies up a couple hundred bucks is just wrong. They do offer great products, I wont knock that but they are clearly concerned with making as much money as they can off their customers. I get businesses need to make money to stay open but raising the price that much is just wrong.
