I have a Gen 3 and came from a 2013 Boss 302. Some things to think about and consider...these cars drive completely different, handle different, sound different, etc. The stock exhaust note on these cars sounds terrible. The Mustang sounds way better in stock form. At higher RPM it does have a nice sound but you pretty much have to get it up over 3500 rpm...at idle it just sounds bad. So if you are expecting a nice V10 rumble you will be disappointed unless you go aftermarket. It has very "long legs" for gears...3.07s. You can hit 60 in 1st gear but it doesn't have that down low "pull" feeling like an s197 or even an sn95 has in 1st gear...but it will pull like a freight train once you get into the revs. Don't be concerned if hear a lot of "lifter noise" it's common. At idle it sounds like an industrial sewing machine sometimes. As was mentioned above, if you are planning to mod or go FI then gen 3 is the way to go. If you want to leave it stock and still have great power go Gen 4 but expect to pay about $10k more on average to move from a Gen 3 to a Gen 4. Personally my gen 3 has plenty of power for my tastes and I couldn't justify the extra $10k for the extra 90 horses. I figure if I want an extra 90hp I can do it for cheaper than $10k. Last thing...make sure it's had the window regulators replaced! Big issue with these cars and most were replaced under warranty but if not it's big $. Also make sure not to crank the e-brake. It has a tendency to stick and grind down the back side of the rotor. Sent from my SM-N920T using Tapatalk
