Gear install help

i currently have 410s on my mach 1 AUTOMATIC and gonna go back to stock, 410s eat up too much gas and the mach is my daily driver. i just need help on picking a install kit with bearings n all. i was looking at this kit from american muscle and want to know if its good or what do you recommend and also is my transmission is a 8.8in

Just put a 28" tire, it will make it feel like a 3.90 or so.

That kit would be used to re-install your current ring and pinion. Since you are changing the ring and pinion, you will need a pinion depth gauge and shims for the pinion. You will also need a press to remove and reinstall the pinion bearing after you determine the shim size you will need. You will also need a dial indicator to determine the correct shim size for the carrier. The job isn't that difficult if you have all the tools.
