Gauges all randomly go white with car turned off

Last night we went over to a friends house to drop off some food. We had the baby in the back seat so my wife went in with the food and I stayed in the car with the baby with the car turned off.

About 5 minutes after I turned off the car, both gauges just randomly lit up all white and then turned back off for seemingly no reason.

Was this normal or some indication that there is something going on?

Mine actually does this too. I noticed it only does it if the power is completely shut off radio and all, and if I tap the brake pedal. it doesn't do it unless I hit the brake pedal, and it only does it 1 time per cycle.
