gauge sweep

ok guys..not sure if this is suppose to happen..it dnt do it all the time thou.. fire the car up and the guages will do a full sweep... car cranks over real lazy..mayb thro in a new battery? let me kno..thxs

Same thing happened to me about a month ago. I took it to an auto parts store and sure enough it was the battery like people here said.

hey thanks for all the help guys.. sure enough..battery on the way out.. guess i cant really complain..its the original battery..so it did its part

FYI anyone having this problem later or if your battery or alternator is ever in question you can simply start or jumpstart the car, unhook the battery terminal(s) and if the car stays running...it's your battery...alternately, if it dies, then it is your alternator...quick, easy and cheap(free).....
