I have searched and must not be using the right parameters... I want to change the Pony in the center display to the Cobra... anyone know how this is done? Are there any tutorials for this or changing the NAV display images? Thank you!

I thought 13s had horses and 14s had snakes. I haven’t seen anyone change them

The change from Horse to Snake started in Mar or Apr 2013, so early 14 cars had the Horse. You may be able to get an update from your dealer, but I don't remember reading about anyone having any luck changing the image.

Soooo.... seems this is MUCH more involved and costly than just a simple flash update. They are talking $600 just for a new cluster made after March 19th 2013. I'll stick with the Pony.

I remember people doing this way back when the 14s came out. Iirc it is just a simple flash, also anyone who did it lost their launch control rpm low limit, that is also different from 13 to 14. I think 13s LC rpm limits are 2500-5500, and 14s are 3500-5500.. Not a big deal but just a fyi. and if you really want to change it, you need to find a dealer that knows what to do and is willing to do it. But it is just a flash.
Pretty sure it is a cluster change & not just a flash or there would be many more who have done it including me.
This is from my 2013, Jan 2013 build. The earlier 13's had a different range, I don't know when the change occurred.

Dang it....sort of forgot about that detail.
I have an early 2014 that came with the pony logo, and it drove me nuts that it didn't have the cobra. So I switched it, and it's much better. All you have to do is find a vin # for a 2014 with the cobra logo and have ford order a new gauge cluster using that vin and that's it.
