I had Nitto's and no thread wear. Just changed to KDW's. We'll see. They should be ok for a high performance tire. Tread wear specs should be on both discount tire direct or tire rack.

I am stuck between the Kuhmo MX's and the BF Kdw's...............I am hearing the kdws are better than the sports.....

why not look at the KDW tt?? on discount tire direct they were 150 a tire, not much more than kdws. I have the kdw, love em!! awesome in the rain and on wet roads in general, and some what decent traction when dry! :rockon:

ok, so nitto 315dr vs kuhmo 285/40/17 vs bfg kdw 285/40/17 ??? Daily driver, mostly highway, some light to light, future track (not much)

I went from the Goodyears that came on the car to BFG Sports since I don't race and wanted a reasonable priced tire with good wet and dry traction. Have not been disapointed...

booster03, they hold their own in 1st & 2nd... thow unless you go to a drag compound tire they all break loose with these powerful cars...
