A couple weeks ago at the Houston MCA National Show I was speaking to an owner of a glass roof Shelby that was passing a rock truck that somehow had a rock come out of the bed and landed on his roof and cracked it. He went through 2 replacements and both were rejected due to wave issues in the center section. He has been working with a Ford Manager who contacted the glass supplier. They went through all inventory and apparently the entire inventory of glass roofs in the US was trashed--200 units. They are working on getting new units made but that is going to be at least 3 months and hopefully they come out in proper condition. Retail is close to $3,000 on these units and can probably be had for close to $2,000 with a good discount. Not a pleasant situation if any of us need a replacement. Tom
