Fuel Tank Fill Tube/Sending Unit Question

Will the '94-'96 Cobra fill tube and sending unit work with a '97 Cobra tank? Are they all the same? Will the SN95 GT ones work as well? What about the '86-'93 Mustang assemblies?

I'm pretty sure the 94-97 fill-tube + fuel sending units are the same. I know for my 1998 Cobra I had to get a 97' and earlier fill-tube + sender to work with my aftermarket tank as the 98's used a different setup. For specifics, call or look up Randy Stinchcomb on modulardepot's ford parts forum and he'll tell you and be able to hook you up with both parts. I paid $133 for both about a month ago.

Yeah, that's what I'm doing. Swapping out my tank for a Glenn's Performance one. They state you need a "'97 or earlier" fill tube and sending unit. Just didn't know how much earlier. What tank did you get? I will check out Randy.

Glenn's Performance sleeper tank. I bought my whole fuel system from him. Nice guy, good product and price. Here's Randy's # 410-655-2000 ext. 5618 Just tell him you're a member of modulardepot and need a 97' and earlier fuel tank filler-tube and sender. Should come out to be $133 or so plus shipping.
