Stop making multiple threads. It's difficult to keep track of your issue that you have not revving past 4k with 10billion different threads asking questions. Keep the questions/answers in the same preferably original thread.

If it was the inertia switch in the trunk it would not run at all.

It completely kills the pump until reset.
I also agree with keeping it in 1 thread.
