Looking for help...
I just installed a 2.9 whipple with a 3.25 pulley, I have stock fuel pumps with a boost a pump. I just had the car at Mike Posts and it made 589 with only 15lbs of boost (belt slipping) at 5200 rpms. He said the stock pumps were at their limit due to low voltage (alternator) and fuel delivery. I'm going to install the DeatschWerks 340lph kit. 180amp alternator and shorter belt, will i need a retune or can I drive as is?

Are you running a BAP? If not were you thinking your stock pumps were going to be enough?

Just wondering.

Kenne bells website says stock pumps and a bap is good to 650 I know that's not ideal but it must be ok uf they say it.

Personally I'm not a fan of the BAP. Over driving pumps that are already maxed out is bad to me. Along with adding another component to fail. Step up the fuel system to match the blower IMO.

Not to mention that of course a manufacturer is going to say their parts are awesome.
