So I recently blew a fuel pump fuse and it left me stuck on the side of the road for 2 hours while I figured out the issue. I initially thought it was another fuel rail pressure sensor going out. (No I have not added the Kenne Bell Disc yet. )
The Fuel Setup on the car:
-VMP Fuel Pump Booster
Stock everything else except 56LB Injectors.
So to help anyone in the future this is what I found:
20 AMP Fuel pump fuse is factory
30 AMP Some boosters or some people upgrade to these
40 AMP this is necessary for the VMP BAP.
So I found it very hard to find a 40 AMP locally. I ended up having to order a 50 PC set from Amazon for $7. The reason why it is hard to find is because the 40 AMP mini is a high AMP for its size and most places don't carry it.
If you want to follow the struggle of being stuck on the side of the road and searching for a 40 AMP watch the video below and check out the 40-130 pull at the end in Mexico
