This fan works excellant on a Gen 1.

I have the same fan, its like it was made for our trucks it fits so well.

how much does changing from the belt controlled fan to the e fan affect the truck?

ive head it worth about 12hp. It cools way better. Specialy these two speed fans. I have two of these for sale now. One is a real mark 8, and the other is just a two speed ford fan.

GMAN, if you have the money I say you should get 'em. I have some E-fans(different brand though) and they were a nice improvement. :rolling:
