To address questions that appear to be coming up....
1- Yes, I would prefer that any parts used as part of the trade be able to be used on the GT500 or Cobra R. However, they don't have to be made specifically for the cars (e.g. a nice set of race seats that you could get brackets for a GT500, or interior dress up parts that could go on any S197)
2- Yes I would consider non-car related items (e.g. electronics, memorabilia, other interesting things...).
3- Yes, I would consider a built automatic that could mate to the 5.4 modular motor
4- Yes I might consider item(s) taht would require me to put up additional cash.

Keep the original tranny ! The stock tranny has part of your vin number which is important if you want to keep it numbers matching?

I'm not worried about it no being a 'numbers matching' vehicle. If it was a '67GT500 yes, but it is the exact same tranny, so not a concern for me.
