quick question- was this in your 98? was the black a dead on match or is it more of a dark charcoal color?

The fr500 wheels are black. They match the factory interior on the 94-98's very well.

I've heard that it's not as bold a black, meaning it wouldn't stand out like an eyesore in a dark charcoal interior.

its not black.its a dark charcoal.i have one of these that i bought new. its damn close to black though. i have a black interior in my car and i dont even notice it unless i stare at it

This is pretty much my feelings as well. I've had it in both my old 01 GT and my BAB 98 Cobra and it worked well in both of them.
