**** Offically sold, thanks SVTP! ****
Listing up a 2003 DSG Cobra # 3409. Cars runs/drive really good with no issues. I purchased the cobra in October of 2015 so I have not had the vehicle long at all. When I purchased it, I originally was going to trailer it home (Uhaul) but the owner talked me out of it and I ended up driving 200 + miles home with no issues/concerned.
*** This Cobra has a clean carfax (Vin # 1FAFP48Y33F328320) and has a clear/clean title. When I lowered the vehicle, I did notice that the driver's side front tire stuck out about 1/2 inch while the passenger side tire sat in about the same. Taking apart the front, there were signs that the front radiator support was replaced at sometime. Through recommendations, I took the cobra over to Jerry's Autobody in Souderton, PA and they confirmed that the front did sit over toward the driver side. They were able to bring the front over 3/8's of an inch and the front wheels track with the rear. Even though this was fixed and all the wheels/tires were aligned, it did not entirely fix the "Appearance" of the wheels. The front driver side tire sits (What it looks like) around 1/4 of an inch out and the passenger side tire sits in the same. ***
Unfortunate, this drive's me up a wall so I am listing the cobra "CHEAP" and getting out of the mustang world for now.
UPGRADS:
- AFCO Dual Pass Heat Exchanger
- Lethal Performance Gen 2 Head cooling mod
- SPEC Stage 3 Clutch (May 2014)
- SPEC Aluminum Flywheel (May 2014)
- MGW Short Throw shifter
- Maximum Motorsports Full Length sub frame connectors
- Maximum Motorsports Caster Camber Plates
- BBK Long tube headers
- BBK off road x pipe
- JBA 3" Cat-back exhaust
- New from RotorPro's front/rear drill/slotted rotors with Hawk Pads
- H & R Race Springs
NEEDS:
- The front/rear wheels/tires were purchased through Craigslist. I bought them just to be able to move the cobra around and there junk with markings/rash etc. Tire DO hold air and are drivable but I was looking into a set of new wheels/tires and keeping these as spares.
- The one headlight does fog up with rain. They are not OEM.
- The CD player displays an "Error" code and does not work.
- This isn't a "Need" but when I purchased it, the ABS light would come on. I was told it was due to the tire sizes on the rear. When I purchased the craigslist wheels, the tires were all the same size and the light never came on etc.
- The exhaust doesn't leak but has seen better days and there are no cats, it's a catless mid pipe.
I will add anything if I can think of it. I have good feedback on this site and I plan on keeping that way. Usually my add's are little longer however I haven't owned this cobra long enough to write a story.
*** IF THE OFFSET "LOOK" OF THE WHEEL IS GOING TO BOTHER YOU OR IF YOU "THINK" YOU CAN LIVE WITH IT, JUST KEEP LOOKING *** Please don't take that the wrong way.
