The cover is made to cover a stock pulley which is def bigger than any aftermarket pulley. So if you have a 2.8 with the smaller belt it will cover it no prob

I think he wants to know if the cover is notched to accomodate an upper idler pulley. Looking at Pic No. 2, it appears the cover will not work with an upper idler pulley...

That's correct. If you have an idler pulley it will not work. I thought you were talking about just a pulley change sorry
