99-04 Mustang GT Hellion Single Kit
- Comp Turbo CT43 80mm Turbo upgrade. 4” inlet/3” outlet, Ported Compressor cover, black powder coat, Aluminum Bearing housing, Oil/Water cooling, .96a/r housing w/4” Vband ceramic coated, CT3B Triple Ceramic Ball Bearing Dynamic Seal, MX Trim 2.800 exducer Turbine wheel….0miles on it
- Hot-Side Pipes coated in high temp black and header wrapped on the Up-Pipe going into the Turbo, Crossover Header Pipe and the Downpipe from the Turbo to where it turns under the K-Member. The Turbonetics Wgate was upgraded to the new Tial 44mm Wgate and can be run in a dump to atmosphere or plumb back setup….1500miles on these pipes, 0miles on the Wgate
- The kit was converted to Blow-Thru setup. The 2.5” inlet/outlet on the Hellion Intercooler were cut and replaced with 3” ends. New pipes are Aluminum 3” from Turbo to intercooler and intercooler into the fender where it meets with the new 3.5”upper charge pipe. The charge pipe comes through the fender cutout closest to the front of the engine bay on the passenger side and has approx. 2.5’ of straight tubing before going into the throttle body. Coming out of the fender is the new Tial Q 50mm BOV. Just above the halfway point coming out of the fender is where the HPX Slot MAF is located on the underside. It also has a provision for IAC. The upper charge pipe is also Powder-Coated in a black crinkle coat, same with the coolant crossover tube…..0 miles on the new cold side, MAF, BOV
I did not get a chance to get the downpipe cut and welded with a 3”-4” Vband transition to fit the turbo. The task however, is easily accomplished.
