I am looking to sell out-right or will even consider trading, my '93 yota pickup.

year: 1993
model: ext. cab DX
miles: 169,2xx
engine: 3.0L v6
transmission: manual 5 speed

VIN: JT4VN13D3P5103650

Recent History of truck
I have had the truck since Oct. of 2005.
I have driven the truck daily for the last 10k miles
I have changed the oil and filter every 3k miles since I have owned the truck.

Cosmetic condition
In my opinion, I would rate the cosmetic condition of this truck a 6.5 out of 10.
BAD
  • minor rust at corner of passenger door (pictured below)
  • minor rust spot along rear passenger wheel well (pictured below)
  • minor rust spot bed rail driver's side (pictured below)
  • minor rust spots in pickup bed (pictured below)
  • pickup bed rails have holes drilled into them...previous owner had a camper top on truck (camper top will come with truck if you are interested in it)
  • numerous light scratches in paint at various parts on truck
  • normal wear and tear on interior...few stains in carpet, driver's seat worn
  • winshield has crack along bottom but the crack has not expanded since I have owned it.
  • no tailgate...tailgate net in it's place
GOOD
  • new BFG 31x15x10.5 all terrain tires at 160k miles
  • new 15x10 black powder coated wheels at 160k miles
  • tinted windows (rear sliding window not tinted)
  • new pioneer CD player (approx. 6mo's old)
  • new seat cover's at 160k miles
  • tubular rear bumper

Driving condition
The truck drives strong.
Most of my mileage is in town and I constantly get 17mpg
The truck will easily cruise the hwy at 70+mph and hold mph steady
  • new cat. converter, spintech muffler, O2 sensor at 162k miles
  • steering linkage recall done at 162k miles
  • new CV joint(passenger side) at 162k miles
  • new K&N drop in air filter at 160k miles
  • new battery at 165k miles
  • new spark plugs & wires at 166k
  • new master & slave cylinder at 166k
  • new fuel filter at 166k

Important Notes:
-truck does not have air conditioning, was not installed from factory
-truck does have cruise control, and cruise control does work!
-the engine leaks oil...about 1 quart every 3 months...I think it is leaking from the driver's side valve cover.?.

If I were to keep the truck i would do the following:
-replace the front winshield
-line-X the pickup bed & bed rails
-replace the driver's side valve cover gasket
-re-tint the windows

Asking price: $5,000 obo
If the selling price is right, I am willing to deliver/meet you the buyer, up to 350 miles of 66612

Thanks for looking!

ttt...

I just returned from a round trip to Tucson, AZ = 2600 miles.

On the way out, the truck was loaded down (moving stuff) and performed awesome...I averaged 19mpg at 70-75mph.

On the way back, with an empty truck, I averaged 19-21mpg while cruising at 80mph! I'd say it is capable of getting 23mpg if cruising at 70mph.

I would not hesitate to drive it across country again. This truck has plenty of life left in it.

well crap :(
that would have been convenient.

no, no Roush...i was only there for like 20 hours...enough time to unload (moving stuff), sleep, and get back on the road.
