I am looking to sell my 2003. Why? Because I have a new one on order that should be arriving in June.
My car is stock, with the exception of a CAI and Bassani cat back exhaust. It has appx. 34,500 miles. I bought this car new in July 2003 - first owner, garage kept, and driven on the weekends. Imperfections - the CAI has rubbed on the hood cover (see pic) and the 3rd brake light is cracked (still works), and the hood was repainted in 2012 due to several cracks in the paint. Other than that, the car is immaculate. Quirks - the passenger side door rubs the top, unless it is 1/8 down when closing the door. Also a hesitation on start-up (occasional blue smoke) after the car has sat for a while. UPDATES: new brakes 2012, AFCO heat exchanger about 4 years ago, oil change & general maintenance every year regardless of mileage, and new Nitto tires 2012. All service completed at Green Ford in Greensboro, NC.
There you all have it - the Good, bad, and ugly. My dealer that I am going through for the new mustang gave me a reasonable offer for trade, but I figured I will give SVTP a shot.
KBB private party sale ranges from $21,701 to $24,151, retail at $26,651.
If you want to "kick the tires" so to say - It will be at Cars and Coffee in Greensboro, NC on Saturday May 18, from 8-10 am and at the mustang show at the Holly Hill Mall in Burlington, NC same day at about 1030-2ish. Here are the pics.
