It's actually an inch shorter overall, I want a taller tire. Smaller wheels equal less weight, and more traction. There isn't anything good that is at least a 225 for 15 inch rims while being taller than 24in overall(225/50R15). Stock tire is 25in. tall, 225/50R15's are great because they are cheap and BFG makes DR's, but there would be less fender gap if I went 225/50R16's or 225/45R17's which would equal the stock 205/50R17, this would also give the car more ground clearance(raise the car.) So while this car does have slightly more sidewall than stock, it actually has an inch less diameter, if I put a shorter tire on there I'd practically be on the ground, and the fender gap would look terrible.
