2004 Ford Mustang Cobra built for SCCA World Challenge GT
I'm going to run another series next year and will not need the car. It is a great car and I have just about got all the bugs worked out. It has two years left in WCGT or it could be run in NASA AIX or SCCA ITE.

The bad is that the motor seized, 4.6L SC, at Road America. The oil pump broke. The heads are still good and my engine builder recommends building a 5.0L Aluminum short block and porting the heads and SC. The current engine turns 435hp at 6400 rpm.

I will not separate any parts from the car. Asking $40k as is obo. Also would consider a Class C RV, trailer or 2001-2004 Mustang GT w/no mods + cash.

I know it is a race car and everything but why would someone spend 40k on a car with a messed up motor that they are gonan have to spend a couple more thousand to get a race worthy engine?

If I fix the motor, which I'm willing to do, the cars price is going to be around $60k+ depending on what motor I put in the car. To duplicate this car would take about $90 to $100k. If it doesn't sell I'm going to chop it and start selling the parts which will get me closer to $60k by the time I'm done. The data system is close to $7k of the price which I would also consider removing and dropping the price by $7k.

Also I just noticed in my ad I have never listed the custom Quartermaster 7 1/2" 3 disc hydralic clutch. QM designed, built and installed the clutch using a automatic Cobra flexplate. It uses a QM throwout bearing and a Tilton Master Cylinder. Installed this was about $2k

dude, if you don't agree with the price, don't buy it! Let the owner make that decision on his own. He doesn't need you to tell him the price is too high.
