People could also use this if they are swapping in an 00 Cobra R spec T-56 (31spline output) into an SN95 or a new edge. They would also need the hybrid 1330/1350 U-joint as well, or use the IRS pinion flange. Just another market for the shaft. I wish this was for sale last week I would have scooped it up, I just spent 390 bucks on a custom one for my swap.

This shaft already has the IRS pinion flange and you are right about the 00 R spec T56. It also works for the Viper spec T56. and IRS.

I just got a -t56 for my '01. It has an '03 gt solid rearend. Will this work?

if it is an 03/04 Cobra take out this isn't going to fit as is. This has an IRS pinion flange and a 31 spline yoke. 03/04 yoke is 28 spline or something like that so you would have to change both ends. it's not worth it.
