Front Tire suggestions?

I plan on purchasing Nitto 555r's for the back two in 275/40/17 for my drag radials. I was wondering if I should just get some 555s (non DR) for the front or if anyone recommends anything else.

I have a 99 Cobra all stock btw...

Oh and is the stock 245 size up front what you guys do usually?

Most guys I know that are still on 17's are running 275/40/17 up front on a 17x9 rim and
315/35/17 in the back on 17x10.5 rim

If you are still on stock rims and are stuck on NT 555 dr's in the rear the I'd run NT555 street tires up front. In a 245/45, 255/40.

I've always used the 555's up front and love them!

255/40 is the best that I have found and I am running 555's up front. They are wonders in the corners but I also am running a 18" wheel but still I would go 555, 255/40

I have a 99 as well, check my Sig below to see my wheel and tire set up. On the stock 17x8s I would just stick with a 245 40 17 nitto 555 that's the stock size by the way and go with the 275 40 17 555 D.R for the rears. There will be some buldge tho with that size tire on an 8 inch rim for the rear.
