Front Tag

So my friend just got a cobra and he doesn't want to drill the holes in the front bumper. He lives in VA but drives to MD everyday for work. It's illegal in both states to not have a front tag. But he claims that a MD cop or a bridge cop can't give him a ticket for no front tag. Is this true? Just trying to find out for him before someone gets him.

He will get a ticket for no front plate if the cop is really a stickler for that law. For him to say they "can't" give him a ticket is laughable. Tell him to get this and be done with it

the fact that your 5% never got you pulled over in Va or Md is pure luck and nothing more. For you to live and work where you do and as much time as you spend on the road you have been extremely lucky. I lived there for 30 years and there is no way I would be doing either of the things you are doing now days.
