Is it advised to run a front strut cover on Konis with C/Os, or is it alright to run the shaft bare, even in Ohio winters?

I would run the covers. I'm holding off installing my refurbed Race2 bilstein struts to get a set for my race car.
Would the stock ones work with C/Os you think or would I need a different cover?
Nope, MM sells them for bilsteins didnt see them for the Konis but they may fit as the coilover spring ID is the same between kits.
