I tried the search but no luck. I've never worked on the suspension for Mustangs so give me a break. I've got the rears down pretty well just lower the irs. But how the heck do I go about removing the front springs?? This will be done on a lift. Thanks.

P.S. I posted this thread in the suspension forum but there's no traffic there and no answers. Thanks.

Here is how I do it. Put car on lift. Pull the front wheel. Then while the car is on a lift in the air, place a jack under the lower a-arm. Jack up jack tp take load of spring. Then remove the upper shock nut in the engine compartment. Slowly let the jack down. Very, very, very slowly. Make sure that you do not hit anything with the shock, fender and liner. Now be careful as the spring can still pop out. You might need to push the lower control arm down and use a pry bar to move the lower coil up and over the cup. Hope this helps. Most importantly take you time because that spring can hurt someone or destry something coming out.
