While Adam's link was useful, I don't believe it to be completely accurate (not of his doing but the website owner). I only make this comment because I'm moving to Nevada (Las Vegas) in a few weeks and found this on the Nevada DMV site:

When you register your vehicle, you will receive two license plates―one for the rear bumper and one for the front bumper of your car. You should use both plates. Trailers must have a license on the rear bumper only.

You have 60 days to register your vehicle and get new plates after moving to Nevada from another state or country. If you buy a vehicle from a private party or out-of-state dealer, you have 30 days to register it. If you buy a vehicle from a Nevada dealer, you have until the expiration date of the temporary placard that came with your car.

So, I'm assuming it's recommended, but not required to display the front plate. I'll still research further unless a Nevada LEO can chime in. Thanks and be well.
