front end squeak

Starting to get a little squeak coming from the front of the car, seems to be on the drivers side.
I think it may be the ball joints going bad.

Looking for reccomendations on upgrade.
OEM?
BMR?

Little more info.

Car is a 2011
71K miles
Sitting still, engine at idle, I turn the steering wheel with the windows down, turn wheel left, I can hear squeaking noise coming from front drivers side of car.

Sounds like something is dry. Could be ball joint or linkage.

Ball joint or upper swivel bearing in the strut.

I had a similar issue...ended up being the aftermarket sway bar end link. The Heim joint froze up, making a awful noise when turning the wheel.
