Made a trip to ATCO last night - Results are below for my four runs. The weather was exceptional and my stock Cobra got stronger with each run and as the night went on(Colder temps, less humidity).
Run 1:
ET - 13.994
1/8 - 9.186
60' - 2.335
MPH - 103.80
On this run the car spun like crazy for the first 100 feet
and shook hard between 1-2 shift.
Run2:
ET - 13.87
1/8 - 9.080
60' - 2.261
MPH - 104.05
Car hooked initially then bogged, I left the line at 2K - wish I came out harder this could have been a good run. This MPH was my highest ever to date, but the next two runs the MPH would also be higher.
Run3:
ET - 13.83
1/8 - 9.092
60' - 2.261
MPH - 104.20
Car bogged hard again this time at 2200, but MPH went up.
On this last run I let the car cool for about 45min, didn't touch the car at all.
Run 4:
ET - 13.71
1/8 - 8.965
60' - 2.185
MPH - 105.04 :thumbsup:
When I saw the timeslip I was shocked, this was my best ET and MPH ever. The car hopped like crazy off the line coming out at 2500.
With this MPH the car was making serious HP being completely stock with the air silencer. Best guess is the computer was adding timing with each run based on the driving style. Now it's time to put it on the dyno.
Anybody running 105 in the 1/4 w/ a stock 99 or 01 Cobra???
