Want to get either black chrome or chrome FR500 wheels deep dish. Want opinions from people who have the 17s or 18s, which do they prefer. Like the idea of a wider tire on the 17s since they come in 10.5 instead of 10 but I think the 18s are going to look nicer.

Thanks for the input.

The 17" chrome Fr500s are too cluttered for my liking. My Cobra came with them and I sold them and didnt plan on getting fr500s, but 18" fr500s to me look better than the 17's. So I ended up with black 18s.

18" if you ever decide to upgrade to Brembo Gt's 14" Rotors and 4 piston calipers won't work with 17" wheels.

I was trying to figure out the same thing. I want to concentrate on the road course this coming year, so I will probably stick with 17's.

i just got a set of black 18'' fr500's and they "look" smaller b/c of their design. i can't imagine how small 17's will look.

Looks?
How about function?
Wheels won't impress your Girl friend.

Mine is a daily driven street car. I'm not concerned with squeezing every last tenth out of my lap time.

ps, my 18s probably weigh less than 17" FR500s.

Yes 18"s almost weigh 20 lbs. a piece.
My Brembos wont work with 17's.
Hope you understand that.
Try 4 piston Bremo GT,s with 14" rotors.Street wise guy...
They have helped saved me from many Asian drivers.
That's not profiling. it's the truth.

nobody cares that Brembo 14'' rotors wont work w/ a 17inch wheel. They make 13'' kits w/ a 6 piston caliper that will do just fine if he ever whats to upgrade his brakes and buy 17'' wheels.

18inch wheels ftw.
