Looking for a FR500C intake as well as a set of 00 Cobra R cylinder heads for a planned build.
Appreciate any leads finding these items, also willing to pay a finders fee!

ewww good luck and there was a guy on Ebay with a set of complete 00R heads. Truth is i have a set i'm using but you'll be hard pressed to find a set of 00Rs but the brother of those are ford Gt supercars which you'd be more able to find. As far as the Fr500c they pop up once ever year or so if youre lucky but are gone as fast. Just keepin it real.

Appreciate the good luck wishes.
I am more a less a 00 R fanatic but would be open to a set of GT heads as well (realistic expectations, lol)
I know they are out there in someone’s garage just sitting right now!
Anyone need any extra holiday money?

Gt500 / gt supercar heads are the same as 2000r heads except for different exhaust manifold bolt pattern
00r heads has 99/01 bolt pattern, gt supercar heads is different

I also was going to advise that Supercar GT / GT500 heads are very similar to the 2000 R heads, and obviously far more common. In regard to the FR500C intake- I had one but sold it many years ago now. In retrospect that was a mistake. It was NIB and I never wound up installing it, but did read that you will likely need to play around with the trumpet lengths if you're trying to make a lot of power. I suppose now with 3D printers, that may not be so much of an issue. Regardless, I always have an eye out for cool stuff and will let you know if I find one that isn't a great deal... Of course if I find one that is a great deal, I'll buy it for myself :)

I’ve got an fr500c installed in 99 cobra.

And I believe the stock trumpets were 3 and 4 inch. Matched to the cams and optimize a broad power band as dictated by class rules

Iirc…. The runner length without trumpets was approximately 11”, so fairly long with trumpets

I have multiple trumpets (some 3d printed) at 1,2,3 and 4 inch

Those are MUCH shorter than the OEM units that came with the intake. I recall there were two long and two short trumpets per side. I want to say the short ones were still 3-4 inches long and the long ones 4-5 inches.

Do you have a turbo(s) on your car? I can't tell immediately from your picture.

Although I am seriously considering custom cams

Conversed with nasvt sometime ago on the subject

Apparently these engines were 500+ hp with different cam profiles

I spotted the beef of an fr500c manifold for sale on a friend’s (Randy Haywood) Facebook page. He tunes at Carolina Dyno in Wilmington, NC. May be worth hitting up to see what all he has.

Thank you very much for the heads up!
Was able to get the intake this afternoon. I owe you one, let me know what I can do.

Now, it is an incomplete unit. I still need trumpets plus the runner covers on each side. So don’t know if I am really any better off now then I was before, but I am one step closer.

Cool deal. Like I said, I just saw “some” of the intake and I didn’t know if he had the rest of what was needed. You don’t owe me anything, I’m happy to help if I can.

I don’t have exactly at you’re looking for, but I have an unused set of gt500 heads (bare) and also an unused Roush DP intake. I’ve had this stuff for years in preparation for a big HP build, but my stock longblock never died. Your post caught my eye anyway.

Mind if i ask what you paid for the intake?

I’ll check to see if i have extra trumpets, i have a bag of miscellaneous ones
