Fox question

Looking to get back into a fox. I'm looking at parts already, can't remember which rear is a good swap-
94-98?

99-04?

Can't remember which width is best for foxes.

94-98 is a little wider than fox. IIRC it's 1.5" longer overall.

I may be mistaken, but I believe the axles in the '94-'04 are the same width, 1.5" wider. The IRS rears are 3" wider.

Oh ok. I thought one was wider than the other.
Is it a commOn swap?

I had planned on a tubular k member/control arms up front with sn95 spindles and brakes and a sn95 rear swap. All disc. Lighter front. 5 lugs.

Thoughts?

all depends on what wheels you want to run....

Ranger axles are the same length as fox axles but are 5 lug, and the 94+ axles are 0.75" wider per side but will fit right into the fox housing

Axle lengths per Moser:

79-93 = 29 3/16"

94-98 = 29 31/32"

99-04 = 30 11/16"
