Has anyone done or heard of a 13-14 GT500 axle swap on a fox body before? Is it possible without the Torsten diff cooler & what else do I need to make it work? I’ve seen off of parts farm(GA) for a couple grand with and eBay for like 1200 without (Cooler). I’m doing a little bit of homework before I pull the trigger on buying my fox

I’m sure the GT500 splines are more than 28 spline, as well as you’d probably have to have a measurement from an S-197 rear end vs a Fox rear end.

Are you taking about the entire axle assembly? Or just the internals?
The S197 axles are radically different in the fact that Ford went to a 3-link and put the coil springs on the axle tubes themselves. The S197 axle is also wider.
But why spend the money on that when you can build up a pretty stout 8.8 axle with 31-spline components.
