Found a cobra on ebay, but supposedly smokes at start.

Found this ad. It says the car smokes on start up. What do you guys think. Anyone had any experience with this. Its low right now, but I am interested to see what it goes for. It looks really clean and the miles are low.

Im guessing with his intake it was possibly tuned at 1 point, battery disconnected and the tune was never loaded again? If i got word of this sooner i would have went to check it out for ya. Oh well good luck

Mine started smoking a bit on startup at about 34-35K miles. Never had issues though. I sold it at 91k and it still pulled strong (mid11's at 121) Prob dosen't need any work, but I would at least do a comp and leakdown test before buying anything from a fly-by-night rinkydink dealership like that.

Good to know, I have 25k miles on mine and get a puff of smoke once in a while on startup.

OP does it smoke on every start up or every once in awhile?

If mine sits for long periods (3-4 weeks) it will give a hint of smoke on start up, but nothing very noticeable.
