Are these prices good? Anything im missing? I want to forge the motor while it is out of the car. It will be N/A until next yr when I will add prob a 10psi Supercharger.
11 cc Pistons $600.00
Rings $100.00
Main bearings $50.00
Rod Bearings $50.00
Billet oil pump gears $365.00
H beam Rods $500.00
ARP Main studs $200.00
ARP head bolts $185.00
Valve springs $500.00
Crane cams $750.00
OR
Billet cams $1500.00
Should I get cams now or wait a year till I get the supercharger?
Can I get them cheaper? Where?

Thanks

That actually seems kinda high for most of that stuff. You can get a complete forged assembly from SHM for 1450, thats rods pistons, rings and bearings. That will save you some money. Just a question, why billet cams? How much HP are you planning on making? The reground cams should be fine for anything that you not be racing Pro 5.0 class. There are a couple web sites to check out. www.fourvalve.com www.modularperfomance.com and www.seanhylandmotorsport.com These are about the best sites I have found for modular performance stuff. Anyone else have any suggestions?

Don't forget gaskets, and the like, and I don't know how many other bolts besides the head bolts that are torque-to-yield, and if removed would thereby need to be replaced.
