Forgestar Wheel and Tire Question

I've getting ready to get a set of Forgestar 20" wheels. (F14's most likely) 20x9 front 20x11 rear w/ 35 and 55 offsets (the usual). I really want to run BFG Rivals on all fours. They only come in 265/35r20, 285/35r20, and 315/35r20. So I am thinking of going with the 265 front and 315 rear. Are these going to fit okay? I know most guys run 315 Nitto's, which run slightly smaller. Do these sizes make sense? I really want to fill up the wheel wells as much as possible, but the back tire will be 1.5" taller overall. I'm lowered with FRPP P springs. My backup plan is to run MPSS 275/35 front and 315/35 rear. All of the reviews I've read state that the Rival is a better track tire, while the Super Sports are a better all around tire. The Rivals are also cheaper.

As far as colors go, I'm debating Piano black, matte black, and textured black. Pictures don't really differentiate too much. Not many have the textured, so I'm thinking of being different. What does everyone think?

Glad you picked 20's. I have 19's and regret it all the time.

I have a 305/30 on a 19 and can easily get a 315 or 325 on there without buldging. I am also going to do a 265 on my 9" front and will have more than enough room.

You'll be fine with the 265/35 and 315/35. I run f14's in nitto invo 275/35/20 and 315/35/20 with the same offsets you noted. Fit is perfect. I'm lowered on eibach sport lines.

Definitely go piano black or some version of gloss. My matte black can look dull.

I ran 275/35/20 and 315/35/20 before the widebody but I lowered the car very aggressively. My rears rubbed on the fender and also rubbed on the inside of the wheel as well, but not significantly. As long as you don't lower the car as much as I did you'll be fine with 315/35/20.

Hmmm...you ran a 275 on the 20x9's front with no problems?

From all the research I've been doing, 275/35r20 should fit without any problems on the Forgestars. Lots of guys running that size. Unless you have some experience that said otherwise on this wheel? The question is really the 315/35r20 rear. Some people claim to rub with these wheels with a 315/35. Most that don't rub in this size are running Nitto's which run smaller.

I found a great deal on some Hankook Ventus RS3's. I'm going to end up going with 265/35r20 front and 305/35r20 rear. They should definitely fit without any issues.

I'm running Nitro all around same size wheels and tires. See Sig....I wouldn't recommend matte finish. I don't like mine they look dirty and lack 'pop'

Mine rub 315/35 Falkens 20x11 f14's. I have not yet discovered where exactly it is rubbing, because I have not had a chance to get under the car.

It only rubs turning into very inclined driveways, makes a sort of metal on metal contact sound. Regular driving it doesnt rub though. Lowered on sportlines with rear shocks on full soft.

I actually just ended up redoing my suspension. I wasn't happy with the Frrp P springs' drop. I installed Koni adjustables and sportlines. I'm still going with the Forgestars, but unsure of tires now. I really want to get Toyo R888's. They only come in 315/30/20. Haven't seen anyone on sportlines with that setup yet though.
