Selling a used balanced rotating assembly that is coming out of .20 over Teksid aluminum 4.6L cobra block.
Here are the specs on the assembly:
-8 bolt forged cobra crank (I'm not sure on the exact mileage)
-Eagle Forged H-beam rods
-Ross Forged pistons
The setup has about 20,000 miles on it. I took the short block apart because the engine was smoking slightly. Upon further examination a few of the cylinders were worn excessively. There was no catastrophic failure but it needed to be bored/honed again.
The machine shop checked the rotating assembly out and said that everything is re-useable. However even though the pistons only show scuffing, if it were me I would probably replace them.
I'm selling because I wanted to start completely fresh with all new parts.
Price is $700 plus whatever shipping comes to.
