ok... so i don't have to type my whole story again... i am gonna copy and paste from an i.m. conversation i had... then you can get the whole story...
-------------------------------------
cdorton1015: so..
cdorton1015: i get a call, last night(i was out of town)
cdorton1015: my pal dave says he got his truck stuck
cdorton1015: i think, "ok. not a big deal"
cdorton1015: i will go and pull him out
cdorton1015: i am wondering why it is stuck, though
cdorton1015: cuz
cdorton1015: it looks like this:
cdorton1015: what he did was... he took his girlfriend with him to a park. pulled into the grass. sunk. lost traction. slid down a hill into about 1.5ft of thick sticky slippery mud
cdorton1015: he tried to get out
cdorton1015: and instead put 380hp worth of ruts
cdorton1015: so..
cdorton1015: he calls me
cdorton1015: i am out of town
cdorton1015: he calls his friend with a dodge 4x4
cdorton1015: he comes to pull him out
cdorton1015: dodge spins all 4 tires in 4-low
cdorton1015: can't get traction
cdorton1015: can't pull him out
cdorton1015: this is last night
cdorton1015: so..
cdorton1015: i get to town. this morning, i go out there.
cdorton1015: i pull in front of him
cdorton1015: i sink back
cdorton1015: still have some traction
cdorton1015: however
cdorton1015: i am not going back up the hill
cdorton1015: i f'ed up
cdorton1015: i got stuck
cdorton1015: started spinning
cdorton1015: some traction
cdorton1015: but the hill was too steep
cdorton1015: so..
cdorton1015: i back up
cdorton1015: over 2 trees and a bush
cdorton1015: floor it
cdorton1015: i am 6 inches from the lightning
cdorton1015: almost slid into him
cdorton1015: i can't go back
cdorton1015: cuz it is 20 ft to a creek
cdorton1015: and trees in the way, and waaay more mud than i am prepared to get pulled out of
cdorton1015: i go back and forth
cdorton1015: and get traction from the tree
cdorton1015: slowly climb back up the side of the hill
cdorton1015: get unstuck
cdorton1015: and it(our situation) looks like this:
cdorton1015: you can see my ruts in front of his truck
cdorton1015: and how thick and deep it is
cdorton1015: i hook up to the back of him
cdorton1015: but it is more slippery over there
cdorton1015: was a ton of rocks
cdorton1015: we moved alot of them
cdorton1015: but they were real sharp
cdorton1015: and we didn't wanna tear his body
cdorton1015: or bumper
cdorton1015: we had to take him that way, though
cdorton1015: couldn't go up the hill with the mud
cdorton1015: you can't tell but behind him is all mud and rocks
cdorton1015: hard to even walk on
cdorton1015: and he has no ground clearance
cdorton1015: the dodge pulled him there, behind the rocks
cdorton1015: and left him like that
then after i hooked up to it with my most powerful ranger....
cdorton1015: ta da
cdorton1015: []
cdorton1015: rangers to the rescue
