Ford "Roots" type supercharger

Sorry if this is old news, just curious.

SC'c are always talked about here but I never hear anyone mention these. I just picked up the 2006 Ford racing catalog. On page 45 They have an under hood, keeps the Strut Tower Brace, "Roots type charger" for 96-98 Mustangs. The installation kit says GT but not sure if it is specific.

Supercharge pt# M6066-M462 $2450
Install kit pt# M9066-M461 $1350

Those are book prices so I am sure guys can get their normal discounts. Says everthing is in the kit: F.P., injectors, module etc.

What is the thought??

Yes, it's specific to the GT.

The install kit or the whole thing ?

They also have on for "power improved" heads. I haven't compared a SOHC 4.6 valley to a DOHC 4.6 intake valley. I assume the valleys are different dimensions that they won't cross over ?
