If this has been asked before forgive me. Has anyone tried lowering the Boss with either P or K Ford racing lowering springs. It seems to me it would be a good alternative for lowering the car??

Ford Racing is working on Boss specific springs that will lower the car a bit and be stiffer. They will be a direct bold-on with no other modifications needed. The springs will be suitable for both track and street and I hope we hear something directly from them by the end of March.

Given how low the transmission cooling scoop sits, I would be afraid to lower the car and still use it on public roads.

Once your car is raised it takes 5 minutes to swap out the scoop with the stock bar. Until two weeks ago I hadn't scraped my scoop at all and then I scraped it twice in the same week.
