We know it’s a big deal that Ford is returning to race in the 24 Hours of Le Mans with the all-new Ford GT. After all, it’s the 50th Anniversary of the original GT40’s historic win at this storied race. However, the return to racing the GT in France isn’t the only way the company is celebrating.

Ford is offering Special Limited Edition 50th Anniversary versions of the Fiesta ST, Focus ST, Focus RS and Mustang to mark the occasion. Only available in France, 50 units of each 50th Anniversary edition will be available for sale.

“The 200 Ford Performance models sport a black livery with gray racing stripes, referencing the GT40 of Bruce McLaren and Chris Amon, who crossed the finish line ahead of the second and third placed Fords at Le Man in 1966,” says the company.

It’s too bad these sleek collector rides won’t be available in other parts of the world, but if they bring a little luck to the GT racers at Le Mans, so be it.

As collectible Mustangs go, the Le Mans edition should be an auction block hero years from now with only 50 being built and sold.

Fifty of each model will be sold and they will each wear a unique Limited Edition badge on the center stack or armrest.
