I have a new Ford GT intercooler 4G7Z-6K766-AA. I have not found any information comparing the cooling or flow for this intercooler compared to the 07-12 or 13-14 intercoolers. I would like to know if the GT intercooler would be better for a new build compared to the 2010 intercooler.

Are you talking about a radiator. I don't think ford gt's have intercoolers/heat exchangers.

I don't think you know what the difference in a mustang gt and a Ford GT are.

Back on topic, here are the specs on the intercooler.
HP: 1000+
Size: 11.90" Wide x 4.80" high x 4.50" Thick (11.90" x 4.80" x 4.50")

Model: Garrett-INT-009

No I do. I didn't realize they were supercharged though.

Please post the results when you find out, I'd be interested in hearing. I'd also be interested in how much/less flow the new KB I/C's have compared to whatever one is in the GT.

Thanks for the information. I searched the Garrett site but did not get a hit for INT-009. The intercooler that I have is stamped "GARRETT PART NO. 738133-5001". No hits for this either at the Garrett site. The dimensions that you provided appears to be the same that Garrett lists for part number 734408-6005.

I found a pic of a 07-12 and 13-14 intercooler on a thread of about two years back. The core in the GT intercooler that I have appears to be the same as the core of the 07-12 shown on that thread. I am going to assume that the GT intercooler would be equal to the 07-12 GT500 intercooler and move on to a 13-14 intercooler.
