For those of you with the JLP CAI kit...

I am considering switching to this product since JL is doing the tuning, so here is the scenario:

My car is driven daily in the nice weather, and sees the track at best a half dozen times this summer. Is the JLP worthwhile being as this is mainly a street car? I keep reading that the JLP kit shines at the track, which the numbers show, but for what I am using it for, is it worth it?

TIA

Yes!

I have had good luck with it and recommend it to anyone. The system rocks on the street and track. Either way it is a true Ram-Air system because of the fog light tube. Plus you yank the headlight at the track for more Ram-Air!

Very nice system, you'll have good luck with it.

I think as long as you check the filter frequently, you shouldn't have any problems...and its a heckuva lot easier to check than an in-fender placement

you could also add one of those pre-filter socks to give an added layer of protection against the crap from the road
