if your drag racing i would put a steel flywheel in. do you still have the irs? good clutch and flywheel is going to put more shock on your rear thats for sure. i have a motorsport sfi steel flywheel and a spec 3i clutch along with a fire wall adjuster and quadrant. i have no slip or bogging issues at all, so far i probaly have 30+ passes leaving no less than 5k:rockon:

I have the IRS but with MM bushings, Diff bushings, MJbrace and HPH adj shocks. I do drag race the car even though it is a daily driver.

Only advantage of steel is less bog on launch. Otherwise it wastes HP as you accelerate in each gear. Unless your primary purpose is launching at the strip get aluminum. Aluminum flywheels have steel inserts for friction, anyway. Lighter wheel is much more responsive in regular driving.

This has been discussed numerous times here and on modfords.com.
