Fed-ex arrived at 1pm and over to the local garage.
1 hour later while I patiently waited I heard a deep roar from the garage.
One of the guys walked in and said he just got a woody.
Initial impressions, very deep, very throaty.
I took my son and wife for two seperate test drives.
Both LOVED the sound.
Definitely loud enough in the car at normal cruising and at heavier acceleration.
Neither complained of drone.
My wife is raving about them.
Personally, I can see how some people would hear a drone, but it is not bad, just a very deep exhaust note.
With the automatic tranny, you are at 1000rpms fairly often if you have a light throttle foot, and that deepness might annoy some people.
I really like them so far.
Next, at 3:30 I am going to let my 72 year old father drive it.
