You have been saying this forever and I agree Florida is too full. I am a resident two weeks of the year with an AirBnB....lol....and I drive around the state. My friend in Naples there over 30 years and he hates when the crowds pile in around him. Its going to get worse because everyone who has to escape the blue state insanity is going to Florida or maybe Texas.

Even though I live in this shithole outside NYC I live right next to the Appalachian trial in Sussex county NJ and its not too bad here and bearable...lol...with many bears.

Winter Haven is in the Polk County School District and there is a dress code for kids in K-8. Wouldn't be a problem for me if I had kids but it might for others. Dress Code Policies | Polk County Public Schools

Worst part about the summer is that the few months before hell on earth it's nice out, constant breeze, low 80's, cool nights. Then it's instant hell the following week with 30 thousand mosquitos from dusk to dawn.

The problem I have with LEOs is that they stop me from handling my own shit.

Florida tells you that if someone breaks into your house, “shoot them grave yard dead.”

The humidity in the summer filters a lot of people. I say just get comfortable with being uncomfortable. You're going to sweat like you just ran a marathon bringing your trash cans in in the morning, just gotta deal with it.

Yea I don't mind some snow and some winter but it's a bit much out here...

If it were just snow... I could handle it.

But the list is long.

1. Drag Queen story time is a real thing here.
2. HB 23-1230 is in the works right now and is an "assault weapons ban."
3. Traffic is beyond stupid.
4. housing is fairly expensive for what you get.
5. 7 months of winter is kinda stupid.
6. State income tax exists.
7. Emissions laws are Cali style bad.
8. 21% drop in horsepower due to altitude.
9. No family living in this area. (Parents greatest life hack... live near the grandparents.)
10. Mag capacity restrictions already a law since 2013.
11. They just legalized Psychedelics LOL. ****ing degenerates.
